Taking Malaysian youth football to the next level

Started in 2016, the Kuala Lumpur Cup is a 7-a-side international youth football tournament held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Targetted at competitive junior teams from across the region, the cup aims to improve the opportunities for inter-club football in Southeast Asia.

In 2019 the KL Cup featured 108 teams from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. In 2020, the tournament is set to welcome over 120 teams.

Open to teams in 5 age groups (Under 8, 10, 12, 14, 16), the 2020 KL Cup will take place at Ardence Arena in Setia Alam and The New Camp in Bandar Utama, – 2 artificial turf football facilities within 30 minutes of Kuala Lumpur city centre.

Organised by the people behind the AirAsia KL Junior League and the KL Invitational Cup, the tournament promises two days of exciting football action at some of the region’s leading football centres on 7th and 8th March 2020.
